Last weekend was all about sailing, sportsmanship, and international connections. Skrobber was a proud sponsor of the Dutch Folkboot Club during their annual sailing competition. This wonderful event brought together participants from the Netherlands, Denmark, Germany, England, and Sweden – all enthusiasts of the iconic Folkboot.
A sporty weekend on the water
The Folkboot is known as a reliable, classic sailboat perfect for both recreational sailing and competitive racing. This weekend proved this once again: exciting races, international friendships, and a fantastic atmosphere on and around the water.
Free Skrobber sponges for all participants
After an intense race, a boat often needs some extra attention. That's why all participants received a free Skrobber Magic Eraser to take home. 🧽 Thanks to its unique melamine texture, the sponge effortlessly removes black streaks, dirt, and grime from the deck and hull—without chemical cleaning agents. Just add water!
Afterwards, the sailors could make their Folkboot shine again as if it had just come from the shipyard.
Why Skrobber is ideally suited for Folk boats
A Folkboot has a lot of character and deserves the best care. With Skrobber:
✅ Easily remove streaks and deposits from the deck
✅ Keep your hull and cabin sparkling clean
✅ Do not use harmful chemicals, only water
✅ Save time after a long day of sailing
Perfect for any sailor who wants to keep his boat in top condition.
More than a sponge
Skrobber is more than just a sponge. We want to contribute to the enjoyment and care of sailing. Sponsoring events like this regatta fits perfectly with that. Together with the Dutch Folkboat Club, we're taking a step toward cleaner, more sustainable, and more beautiful water sports.
